One of the features that sets Simonetti Basses apart is my bridge system. It is adjustable for individual string height, string spacing, intonation and overall height. All Simonetti bridge systems are
composed of a bridge and separate tail piece. I use a wood body with recesses cut for each string to have a saddle carrier. String saddles are available in Graph Tech black TUSQ and matching string
nut or, for an additional fee, brass saddles and matching string nut. The tail piece is composed of a slotted brass fixture counter sunk into the body and covered by wood to match or contrast the
surrounding area. This gives the strings a solid anchor point while being as unobtrusive as possible. The bridge is recessed into the body and also sits on a heavy brass support plate. Due to the
nature of this bridge system, Simonetti Basses are strung with super long scale strings.

The saddles are string saver Graphtech
Tusq XL made in house from slab stock.
Each saddle is slotted for it's specific
string and when all are set at their lowest
match the fingerboard radius. All of these
parts are made in-house by hand and are
final hand fitted together for each
individual bridge. These bridges are
probably the most time consuming part of
my builds, though they are well worth the
time and effort due to the overwhelming
positive feedback I've received. These
bridges help to make a tone outside of the
norm and also have a unique aesthetic
and can be customized to suite any style
of design.
THIS DESIGN WILL USUALLY REQUIRE SUPER
LONG SCALE STRINGS OR SIMILAR TYPE
MADE FOR STRING THROUGH THE BODY OR
    LONG NECK BASSES
Custom designs such as these 8 and 9 string fanned fret versions are also possible
