This Custom short scale (30") 6 has almost everything but the kitchen sink. Not only are the woods exotic but the electronics offer a wide range of tonal options. The Crotch Walnut top is center joined to hide the Bubinga/ Wege/ Tiger Maple/ Purpleheart through body neck and features a sandwich layer of Maple and Purpleheart between the top and Peruvian Walnut back. The Fingerboard, pickup and knob caps come from a stunning piece of Black and White Ebony. In lieu of the usual Simonetti edge dots this bass features LED side markers fit into black and white ringed side dots. The can be turned on via switch on the body when the stage gets dark and have different colors at the octaves. The Pickups are a pair of Simonetti humbuckers wired for series/ parallel or coil cut via mini-switches. The electronics are unique in that they are two complete sets of controls. The first being a passive master volume, pickup blend and tone control and the second being an ACG Low Pass Filter with independent volume controls and Low- high pass filters for each pickup. The electronics can be used independently of each other via a toggle switch allowing volume levels to be matched weather in active or passive mode. The control, battery and truss rod covers all feature magnetic hold down for easy access. The Tuners are Gotoh reso-lite and the strap buttons are Schaller, both in black.
