The Simonetti Bridge System
I developed this bridge back in the mid 2000's and it has evolved over the years to allow adjustment for string spacing, individual string height, intonation and overall height. Technically known as the 4-way bridge it is comprised of a separate bridge body and tail piece. The bridge Body and saddle carriers are made from select hardwoods, usually Wenge or Ebony, though other woods are hard enough for use as well. The bridge saddles and the string nut are made from Graph Tech Tusq XL which is available in black or white. I chose this material because it machines well, is slippery like graphite and long lasting. Brass or aluminum are available as well. The Tail piece is brass with a thin wood cap. This allows a good anchor point for the strings as well as a good place for the string ground.
