Terms and Policies

To order a custom instrument contact me with your design and specifications for a price quote. I understand that ordering a custom instrument can be a daunting challenge so I work one on one with you to insure that the bass you get is what you want. Though I do have customizable, proprietary pickups and bridge systems you can choose any components available on the market.

once a final price is quoted and you agree to move forward a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required. You will receive a PayPal invoice via email that can be paid with your PayPal balance or a debit/ credit card. Your invoice will include a spec sheet, total cost, ESTIMATED build time and a shipping quote.

PLEASE NOTE: any changes made to your design or specs after your deposit may incur additional fees which require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit before moving forward and MAY extend the build time.

Your deposit locks in your place in the build line up and secures your quoted price, any fluctuations in lumber or component costs will not be passed on to you.

Once your bass goes into production you will be notified via email. At this time your remaining NON-REFUNDABLE balance will be due plus the final shipping costs. Once an instrument goes into production it is usually 6-8 weeks before shipping. At this point no changes to specs or design are allowed.

Instruments left with a balance due for 30 days after a balance due notification become property of Simonetti Basses and sold. Any payments previously made will be forfeited.

FAIR WARNING:

Building custom instruments is more art than exact science and some components are more difficult or may take longer than usual to obtain. If for any reason component acquisition extends the build time an adjusted production date will be emailed to you as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind in designing and specifying out your bass that exotic designs, woods and components also carry an exotic price tag.
